Are you a Deputy Principal who can provide dynamic leadership and management to establish and drive Fadhili International School’s mission and vision?
Do you have the expertise to strategically implement the Cambridge International Early Years curriculum while ensuring high standards of education, student achievement, staff performance, and operational excellence?
Requirements
- Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the school.
- Lead the implementation of the Cambridge Early Years curriculum.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and development.
- Ensure compliance with Kenyan Ministry of Education and Cambridge standards.
- Facilitate communication with parents and address concerns.
- Monitor student progress and implement necessary interventions.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, preferably with a focus on Early Childhood Education.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in school leadership, preferably with the Cambridge curriculum.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Vision:
- Lead the overall strategy, management, and direction of the school, ensuring alignment with Fadhili International School's goals.
- Implement the Cambridge International Early Years curriculum and ensure it meets international standards while aligning with local regulations.
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and academically excellent school culture where students thrive.
2. Curriculum Development & Implementation:
- Ensure the effective delivery of the Cambridge Early Years curriculum, focusing on student-centered learning, continuous assessment, and holistic development.
- Oversee and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching programs, making necessary adjustments to maintain high academic standards.
3. Staff Management & Development:
- Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and development of teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, offering feedback and professional development opportunities for staff to ensure a motivated and high-performing team.
- Mentor and support teachers, fostering professional growth and maintaining teaching excellence.
4. Student Achievement & Well-being:
- Monitor and evaluate student progress and achievement, ensuring that each child’s development is aligned with school objectives.
- Establish systems for tracking student performance, attendance, and behavior.
- Ensure that the school environment supports the physical, emotional, and social well-being of all students, including those with special educational needs.
5. Parent & Community Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, ensuring clear, consistent, and positive communication.
- Develop strong relationships with parents and the wider community, encouraging parental involvement in school activities and fostering a sense of community.
- Represent the school in local and regional educational forums to promote Fadhili International School’s presence and standards.
6. Financial & Operational Management:
- Oversee the school’s financial performance, managing the budget and resources efficiently.
- Work with administrative staff to ensure that the school is compliant with all local laws, safety standards, and Ministry of Education regulations.
- Ensure effective use of school facilities, technology, and materials to enhance learning and teaching experiences.
7. School Growth & Enrollment:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to increase enrollment and improve the school’s reputation and visibility within the community.
- Manage admissions and marketing efforts to attract prospective students and maintain positive retention rates.
